Contours of the soul

This series of paintings in pastel colours is extremely evocative and expressive. They are created using multiple layers of paint that are layered on top of each other, creating complex texture and depth. Although the many layers of paint are opaque, there is a sense that only the essentials and essentials have been preserved.
